in both of them we travel still, not having consciousness where we are exactly, in "deep"space and time passes by like a flash!
In shivery terms, kissing a ladies hand nowadays is considered charming.
Kissing a ladies hand in a cannibalistic civilization in the other hand would loose its shivery aspect since it would be considered an appetizer.
