Why do rock n´roll musicians always have to count to 1,2,3,4 before the beginning of each song?do they had a trauma counting numbers in their childhood?or do they do this because they feel the need to count the total numbers of members in their band to check if they can carry on?
And some singers even repeat the first 2 numbers,something like: 1...2... 1,2,3,4! it´s like their warming up their motorcycle engine or something.
Wouldn´t it be more practical and convenient to use complex names of diseases or so?

eu acho que é por causa do ritmo que eles dizem isso... é tipo aquecer o motor para começar a andar. nem mais. *

I have to disagree with your conundrum!!! Its sucks donkey ass... eh eh eh... just kidding... I always wanted to say that and now its done!!! Any hoo, if you check deeper you will find that the "1,2,3,4" used before a song it's use by some lame-no-good-wanna-be-rock-stars-because-hip-hop-sucks-bands. Real bands use variations like "1,2, 1,2 testicles"!!!(neat one), but non the less, I really liked your suggestion!!!
You could be a genuine rock star just by doing that... Kudos!!!
